Time to give something back. Drilling right in front of my house. Because internet cable was broken. Used the opportunity to mic it up. Recording made from inside. Drilling is about 5m away with a wall in between. You can hear my son about halfway through way in the background. But thought i wouldn't cut up the sample. Studio recordings of handling a small metal mechanical device for foley purposes. Originally used to foley handling sounds of a tattoo machine, but could also be used for guns, surgical instruments etc. Recorded with an at-4047/sv large-diaphragm condenser mic. In this clip, i am handling the device, producing diverse clinks and ratcheting sounds.

I was doing some recording for this project i'm working on, and the right channel on the zoom h4 i was using bugged out, and this is the result. The only processing done was the removal of the left channel.

I need a very slow propeller sound for a vue infinite flythrough. All windmill and prop sounds were too fast and mechanical. I created a sound by letting a fan hit and spin a pinwheel.
